Our field management team consists of over 60 years of combined experience in the fire protection industry; our in-house engineering team has over 25 years of combined experience. Meet Our Team
Owner & CEO
In 2008, Lisa DiRienzo joined the company to overhaul the administrative and sales team. She succeeded in establishing long term relationships with new and existing customers as well as structuring the business for future growth.
Lisa holds a degree in Business Management, a Massachusetts sprinkler contractors license, NICET certifications in Inspection & Testing of Water Based Systems and Water-Based Systems Layout, and over 15 years experience in the fire protection industry.
Owner & President
Before establishing Professional Fire Systems Inc. in 2005, Tom worked for nearly 30 years as a field foreman managing a crew of approximately 80 field personnel on a variety of construction projects from new construction to retro-fits.
Tom’s ability to manage multiple projects and accommodate multiple schedules is one of a kind. His expertise in the fire protection industry is relied on daily, not only by our own field personnel, but by our customers as well. He holds a Massachusetts contractor’s license, Rhode Island contractor’s license, and Connecticut contractor’s license.
Gregg started with Professional Fire Systems Inc. in April of 2009. He holds a Sprinkler Fitter’s license in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Gregg brings to us over 15 years of experience in the fire protection industry.
Prior to Professional Fire Systems Inc., Gregg worked several years as a field foreman at his previous company. His knowledge, experience, and ability to manage large teams across a variety of projects is a great asset to our company.
Project Engineer – NICET III
Matt started with Professional Fire Systems Inc. in August of 2011 and is now our senior project engineer. He brings to us nearly 15 years of fire sprinkler design experience and has extensive 3D coordination and design experience.
Matt has worked on multiple projects from ground up construction to design build projects and is often our go to person for many technical design related issues and questions. Matt holds a Massachusetts Journeyman’s license and is NICET III certified.
Project Engineer – NICET I
John started with Professional Fire Systems Inc. in November of 2010. John began his career in the fire protection industry in 1988 where he worked in the field as an apprentice.
Because of John’s experience working in the field, he brings hands on knowledge to his design capabilities that is often lacking from many designers today. He now holds a Massachusetts Journeyman’s license, a Rhode Island Journeyman’s license and is NICET certified.
Purchasing & Logistics
Kyle started with Professional Fire Systems Inc. as a sprinkler fitter and is currently enrolled in the American Fire Sprinkler Association (AFSA) training program working toward his Sprinkler Fitter’s license.
He eventually transitioned into the office to assist with purchasing and logistics for our field crews. He keeps all jobs and employees stocked with the necessary tools and materials to complete our work on time and on budget.
